Passport Renewal (e-Passport)

Submit the completed passport application form.

Bring or submit the existing passport being renewed.

National Insurance Card is listed among the renewal requirements.

Original or certified copies of birth certificates, registered affidavits or adoption certificates submitted for the first passport are listed among renewal requirements.

If the passport has not been renewed for 10 years or more, the official guidance states that Section 10 of the form and one photograph must be countersigned by the same individual.

For a name change resulting from marriage, the official guidance lists a certified marriage certificate or Absolute Divorce Decree and additional countersignature requirements.

Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or an authorized representative with the required authorization letter and photo identification.
